Alumnus Manny Sanoja self-publishes book

USC Thornton Vocal Arts alumnus Manny Sanoja (BA ’14) has published a book entitled Enlightening Awakening: A Practical Guide to Self Awareness, Hope and Healing. Sanoja’s life-long love of music performance, interrupted by the death of his father, eventually compelled him to pursue his vocal and operatic studies. He later left the music world to become a financial analyst.

In an article for the Daily Trojan, Sanoja said, “I just thought that it was so cool – that my own difficult journey and experiences helped people. It made me feel like I was giving back in using my talents and abilities. I think that was a really satisfying point in my life, and I knew from then on that I needed to keep writing.”

Sanoja will host a book signing for Enlightened Awakening at the University Bookstore on October 6th from 12 to 4 PM.
