Alumnus Rémy Taghavi works in NYC schools through Carnegie Hall fellowship

ABC News of New York City is currently streaming a web video featuring bassoonist and USC Thornton Winds & Percussion alumnus Rémy Taghavi (BM ’12). A member of the Carnegie Hall Ensemble Connect fellowship program, which trains young professional musicians for teaching, leadership, and community engagement roles, Taghavi is featured in the video working with elementary school students at PS 63 in Queens, New York.

Taghavi is currently on the Composition faculty of the Juilliard Evening Division and is pursuing his DMA at Stony Brook University.
