Angela Little wins AGSC Screen Music Award for Best Music for a Short Film
Screen Scoring alum Angela Little (MM ’19) won an AGSC Screen Music Award in the category of Best Music for a Short Film for her score of the short film “For the Girl in the Coffee Shop.” Little worked collaboratively with director Rebekah Jackson to create a score that expresses the nuances of the film’s story and character. In an interview with The Industry Observer, Little describes the short film and her accompanying score as a “fairytale gone wrong.”
“I’ve always loved music that explores the fantastical, fairytale and otherworldly,” Little says. “It was this idea that informed the pivotal music cue of the film, where we discover one of the two main characters of the film may not be quite who we thought they were.”
Little is a Sydney-based composer and vocalist who composes for film, television and video games. Watch the trailer for “For the Girl in the Coffee Shop” here.
