Cecilia Kang to join faculty at Louisiana State University School of Music

This fall, clarinetist and Winds & Percussion alum Cecilia Kang (MM ’08) will join the faculty at the Louisiana State University School of Music as Associate Professor of Clarinet.

Kang has worked as a performer and educator, previously teaching on the faculty at Furman University in South Carolina. As an in-demand concert clarinetist, she has appeared at many international festivals, and is a prize winner of the Canadian Music Competition and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra Standard Life Competition.
