Elton John’s USC appearance continues to garner media attention

Elton John’s appearance on Monday, Sept. 16 at USC’s Bovard Auditorium in an event called “Elton John Goes Back to School” continued to receive national coverage.  The performance was covered by multiple media outlets including: ABC News Radio, Billboard, China Daily, Entertainment Weekly, KPCC FM, LAist, Reuters, Rolling Stone, RTT News, San Jose Mercury News, World Entertainment News Network, WJFA-FM and Yahoo. ABC News’ “Good Morning America” also featured John’s appearance, where the Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award-winner was shown rehearsing with USC Thornton students. The two-and-a-half-hour set included classic hits and new songs from John’s upcoming album, The Diving Board, as well as a Q&A with the crowd of 1,200 students and staff in attendance.
