Jason Issokson appointed Second Violin with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra
Violin Performance alum Jason Issokson (DMA ’11) has been appointed Second Violin with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, under the orchestra’s new Music Director, Jaime Martín. “I’m thrilled that a musician of his calibre will be joining LACO’s outstanding string section,” says Martín.
Issokson was a founding member of the Argus Quartet, and performed with the group for six seasons. He has performed with orchestras around the world, such as the Fort Worth Symphony, Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra di Teatro San Carlo. Issokson will perform for the first time in his new role with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra on October 26.
