Juliette Herlin named to cello faculty at Texas Christian University

This fall, alum Juliette Herlin (DMA ’20) was named a visiting lecturer in cello at the Texas Christian University College of Fine Arts in Fort Worth. A lifelong musician who studied harpsichord as a child in France, Herlin was admitted at the age of 16 to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and studied at the Juilliard School before receiving her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from USC Thornton under the mentorship of Ralph Kirshbaum. Herlin is a teacher, soloist and chamber and orchestral musician who has performed throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia with ensembles like the Aletheia Piano Trio.
