Michael Abels nominated for 2026 Buil Film Awards

USC Thornton Composition alum Michael Abels (BM ‘84) has been nominated for his score for “HOPE” at the 35th Buil Awards — the oldest domestic film awards in South Korea, first established in 1958. Abels’ film score discography includes music for several Jordan Peele films, Star Wars: The Acolyte, and See You Yesterday, among other film and TV projects.
