Misha Vayman joins Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra

Violinist and USC Thornton Strings department alumnus Misha Vayman (GCRT ’20) has joined Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) in the Violin I section.

In addition to his career as a soloist, recording artist and now, LACO member, Vayman performs in several bands including Astral Mixtape, the genre-bending quartet made up of fellow Thornton alumni Juan-Salvador Carrasco (MM ’19, GCRT, ’20), Michael Siess (MM ’19) and Nathan Ben-Yehuda. He also plays in the Benefic Piano Trio and Delirium Musicum, the conductorless chamber music ensemble founded by Thornton alumnus Etienne Gara (GCRT ’13).

“I’m so excited to join LACO in the fall and so thankful to all the people who were so kind and patient with me leading up to the audition!” Vayman wrote on social media.
