New Frank Potenza album receives four-star review

Frank Potenza, chair of the Studio/Jazz Guitar program, received a four-star review from DownBeat Magazine for his latest album, For Joe. Calling Potenza an “accomplished player,” the review noted that he “reveals touches of his mentor’s brilliance throughout this heartfelt project.” Thornton alumni, New West Guitar Group, also received a positive review for their new album, Big City.
