Variety highlights “Quincy Jones: Beyond Category” event series

USC Thornton’s “Quincy Jones: Beyond Category” event series, presented in collaboration with USC Visions and Voices and the Recording Academy Black Music Collective, was featured in Variety on Nov. 19. The article highlighted past and upcoming events in the year-long celebration of Jones’ life and legacy.

The celebration will continue with “Quincy Jones Symphonic: A USC Concert Experience” on Mar. 14 and “Vibe Revived: Reflections from Vibe Magazine’s Trailblazing Writers and Editors” on Mar. 15.
