Seonmi Lee joins faculty at Korea National University of Arts
Pianist and USC Thornton alumna Seonmi Lee (DMA ’19) has been appointed to the collaborative piano faculty at Korea National University of Arts, which is considered one of the most prominent Korean universities for pianists. In the role, Lee, who won her first international competition at age 10, will teach both collaboration and solo piano. The appointment is a homecoming for Lee, as she earned a performance degree as an undergraduate from Korea National University of Arts. Her resume also includes a degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University as well as collaborations with Martin Chalifour, concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Paul Coletti at the Colburn School.
