Sound-Art Featured in The Daily Trojan

Sound-Art (FA/MUCO 499) is a collaboration between the Thornton School of Music and the Roski School of Fine Arts. USC Thornton faculty composer Veronika Krausas, who is co-teaching the course with ceramics expert Karen Koblitz, said that she wanted to give students “a wide perspective of different kinds of non-traditional instruments and instrument makers.” The class will culminate in a concert of newly composed works for instruments made in the class.
