Thornton-born duo VOILÀ makes music for, and stars in, Netflix’s Tall Girl

Music Industry alum Gus Ross (’18) and non-degreed alum Luke Eisner first started music duo VOILÀ in their USC dorm rooms, and now their song “Stand Tall” is featured in Netflix’s original movie “Tall Girl.” After reading the script the duo was inspired to rework their track “Stand Tall” for the movie, and have “Tall Girl” star Ava Michelle feature on the track.

Ross and Eisner describe their music as “exotic pop.” “Every time you listen to a VOILÀ song, I’d like to think that your emotional passport gets stamped from a new region—to different places and different stories,” Eisner told People Magazine. As well as having their music featured in the movie, Eisner also stars opposite Michelle as Stig Mohlin. VOILÀ is now working on their forthcoming EP, and have been working with costar Michelle to produce her own music.
