Tim Page speaks to Los Angeles Times regarding new Vladimir Horowitz box set

Los Angeles Times quoted USC Thornton faculty member Tim Page about the skills of pianist Vladimir Horowitz to coincide with the release of a box set that compiles Horowitz’s performances at Carnegie Hall over a 35-year period. Addressing a controversial essay he penned 20 years ago critical of Horowitz’s celebrity, Page stated, “Horowitz will never be my favorite pianist, but I’ve enjoyed this set quite a bit.
