The Music in the Mansion concert series, which presents chamber music at the historical Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, recently published a video showcasing a February performance by pianist and 2018 Outstanding Graduate Somang Jeagal (AD ’15, GCRT ’17, MM ’18).
The Keyboard Collaborative Arts student and three-time Beverly Hills National Auditions winner was joined by pianist and DMA candidate Beth Nam (MM ’14), soprano Junwong Choi (GCRT ’14), and cellist Kyung-Eun Choi (DMA ’13), performing music by Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky, and Ravel.
On Sunday, May 20th, 2018, the Music in the Mansion series will feature a performance by clarinetist and Thornton alumnus Benjamin Mitchell (GCRT ’17, arts leadership), founder of the Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, along with cellist and DMA candidate Juliette Herlin, and pianist Irene Kim.
