Billboard names USC Thornton top music business school

Billboard dubbed USC Thornton as one of the “2019 Top Music Business Schools.” The article cites the many successful alumni that have moved from the Thornton classroom to the GRAMMY stage. It also praises Thornton for remaining “cutting edge” by introducing its new master’s degree in music industry and notes Thornton alumnus and trumpeter John Daversa (DMA ’09), who won three GRAMMY Awards this February.
