Ebony teams with Thornton for a music industry discussion

Ebony recently published photos and videos from its fall visit to the USC Thornton Contemporary Music Division, featuring Ethiopia Habtemariam, president of Motown Records, and singer-songwriters Sebastian Kole and BJ The Chicago Kid, in collaboration with the Universal Music Group. The trio spoke with Popular Music and Music Industry students at Carson Center about the challenges—and rewards—of forging music careers in a rapidly changing industry.
