"320 Festival May 8-10"

New York Times highlights 320 Festival in weekend of live streamed events

The New York Times featured the 320 Festival in its roundup of the weekend’s top events to view live online. The festival kicks off today, May 8, for three days of music performances and educational sessions about mental health and the arts.

For two semesters, students of USC Thornton’s Music Industry program have been hard at work planning the festival alongside Thornton professor and Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, learning the ins and outs of event production, and building an event that brings together major musical acts for a common cause. The festival will include appearances by artists such as Chris Martin of Coldplay, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, and Lindsey Stirling.

The 320 Festival is free to attend online, and all proceeds will benefit mental health nonprofits. View the festival schedule and tune in here.
