Student Karli Webster makes a strong debut on The Voice
USC Thornton junior Karli Webster has officially joined Team Miley on NBC’s The Voice. During her blind audition on the October 3rd episode of the hit singing show, Karli received nods from Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus, eventually choosing to work with Cyrus.
The 20-year-old Music Industry major, originally from Santa Clarita, California, has been playing piano since the age of three, winning eight state-level competitions. Raised on ‘70s music, Karli is named after Carly Simon, which inspired the song choice for her blind audition, “You’re So Vain.”
We’ll be cheering Karli on as she competes on The Voice this season, airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 8PM PST!
