Jeff Brabec and Todd Brabec receive award from the State Bar of Texas

USC Thornton Music Industry faculty members Jeff Brabec and Todd Brabec have been designated as the 2015 recipients of the Texas Star Award by the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. The Texas Star Award was established in 2005 to recognize and honor attorneys who have made a significant contribution to the practice of entertainment law. The award was presented by Mike Tolleson, director of the Entertainment Law Institute, in recognition of the Brabecs’ service to the music industry as music publishers, rights managers, educators, authors, and frequent speakers at continuing legal education events nationwide.
