Todd and Jeff Brabec win 2026 Artistic License Award
USC Thornton music industry professors Todd and Jeff Brabec have won the 2026 Artistic License Award, honoring their “stellar achievement as leading experts in music law, shaping modern music copyright and licensing practices, negotiating major publishing acquisitions and educating artists on generating revenue.”
The twin brothers authored the bestselling book “Music Money and Success: the Insiders Guide to Making Money in the Music Business.” While Jeffrey is the Vice President of Business Affairs for BMG Chrysalis, Todd wears many hats including entertainment law attorney and music licensing, royalty, and business management consultant.
The Artistic License Awards was conceived in 2008 to recognize people and organizations who’ve perfected their talents and contributed them to their communities.
